OS X is 10 years old

Wow, OS X hits 10 years this year. That's really really long. I wonder what they have planned next. Why do they release "small" updates like 10.6 instead of a whole new OS? A case of not fixing it if it isn't broken? On the Windows side, XP is 9 years. That's also amazing considering some new computers still come with it. Great success, or subsequent failures?

I wonder how long these links will work for.

I think the thing I like most about OS X is Spotlight. It's fast and useful - I can search for files, contacts, and especially use it as a calculator and dictionary.
