- Homegroup is about as useful as "Network Places". Ok, networks are getting more common, but with people having problems even getting online, I don't think many homes have file sharing set up.
- Ever heard of customisability? OS X is a clear win here. Right click (yes, OS X has right click), Open Sidebar preferences, everything is there for you to change. There's no complex process to add/remove things from Favourites, just DRAG AND DROP. Categories with nothing to display automatically disappear.

Seriously, Windows, a permissions change and regedit to get rid of "Homegroup" from the NP?
