Tesselaar Tulip Festival

This festival is held for about one month every year. I keep hearing about people going, so I thought it should be quite good. It seems to be one of the "must-see" attractions in Melbourne. It was bigger than I expected - the car park is about the size of Sea World's!

The day was cloudy at first, then sunny, then it started raining. This was taken at the cloudy stage. I think the lighting made for a very interesting picture.

I took this picture with a wide aperture to blur the background, making it "artistic". It's a bit underexposed though.

Why do people keep taking boring "stand straight in front of the object and put the people in the middle of the frame" pictures? You can do so much better!
