I got this tip from an online shopping site and it's quite useful. If you want to find out more about a domain, go to http://whois.domaintools.com and enter it. It tells you who the domain is registered under, how long it's been registered, whether the IP's been changed, and other things. It's useful to know how long a shopping site has been up, to see if it's reliable.
