Auto Destruct Test

Aside: Blogger has updated their photo uploading tool. You can now link photos directly from Picasa Web Albums, and you can link multiple photos at once. It's much better!

I found this tag on the adapter for the Acer Aspire One netbook. What's the "auto destruct test"? Does that mean the cable will self-destruct after 5 years, or if something goes wrong?
