- Voice control. iPhone isn't the first or necessarily the best, but it's the only one I've tried, and so far I think it's great. It feels really special being able to control something with your voice.
- The camera. Again, not the best, but I think it's good enough to replace a compact if you have a DSLR. I've already used it as a very capable camera on several occasions. Its usefulness comes from its convenience, flash and autofocus.
There was a smell in our kitchen a few days ago, which we thought was coming from around our fridge. The fridge is pretty close to the floor, so it's hard to look under. The iPhone camera, with its lens located at the corner, flash, and autofocus was perfect for finding out if there was anything under the fridge. This is the picture it took. - Photos on the iPhone can display your photos on a map!
- Really convenient to check and send emails. Since this is far from new, what sets the iPhone apart is the unified inbox, big screen, handling of many attachment types, WiFi and ease of sending pictures taken by the camera. I think email might even replace SMS.
There are a few disappointing moments, but on the whole the experience is positive, unlike my previous smartphone.
