Spotlight search tips

Isn't the Internet great for storing information? I used to keep a newspaper clipping for this, but I thought I'd post it here so I can search for it easily and I won't have so many things to keep track of.

• Open containing folder - arrow down to item, then ⌘+return
• Search by type - kind:pdf
