Sleep and charge

Sleep and charge is a feature where a computer supplies power to its USB ports when sleeping, allowing you to charge USB devices. There didn't seem to be much information on which computers do this when I searched on Google.
I've tested this with my MBP, and, as you can see, it has this feature (the MBP HAS to sleep when you close the lid, unless you have an external monitor or something similar). In the picture the power is connected, but I've tried disconnecting it and it remains charging. It's quite a useful feature, especially when traveling. I use it to charge my phone overnight. Hopefully it saves some power compared to using the adapter.
